Golf Club news and updates:

  • Canyon River Golf Club has been named by Golf Digest one of the top ten new public courses to play for under $75. This nomination definitely shows the quality and commitment the golf architects have designed in to the course and we are grateful for this award.
  • As of 2008, Canyon River Golf Club will be offering daily instruction with a variety of golf schools,1/2 day, full day and two-day openings.
  • CRGC is also opening a golf teaching center, an indoor facility on the driving range offering video analysis. Ed Bezanson (head golf pro) has hired a top 50 LPGA professional (Ann Loughlin) to conduct many of these golf clinics. Ed Bezanson as an instructor with the Moe Norman Golf Academy will be also providing Golf Schools on the single plan method.
  • Canyon River Golf Club is in the process of partnering with a local hotel where we will be offering weekend or vacation stay and play packages. This new opportunity will be available in early summer of 2008. To book a specific weekend or vacation date, please call early to reserve your dates by contacting the CRGC Pro Shop.

Canyon River adds new GPS to carts

As we head into the new 2008 season, CRGC is happy to add to our carts new GPS technology. These systems will define distances to the pin from all locations around the course, allows you to order food, and if you'd like, a great opportunity to advertise your company or products to a qualified group of individuals.

As many of you watched last year, our neighborhood fox has been out running around and we hope to be able to provide and update you as to his national exposure and antics on and off the course. Keep an eye on your ball, we're sure he is.
